Neighborhoods.
Do they really matter that much?
See I live in what I deem the "perfect" neighborhood. But I HATE my house. It's too small. It's ugly. It's falling apart. So I've been looking at houses.
Well we had found one I loved. Then we found one that was perfect. But I still loved the first one and half of that reason was the neighborhood. The other one was big and roomy and worth twice its price and had a huge yard and was just the perfect house. But I didn't feel "that feeling" about the area.
So it turns out the "Perfect" house is not available anymore.
Which is FINE with me. It was nice. But the other one just speaks to me. And I like the neighborhood. It's not where I live....but I can't afford where I live. Unless I stay in this too small falling apart ugly house. Which I will do if the perfect place doesn't happen.
Im rambling here aren't I?
I was stuck on N and then realized we'd spent the past few days analyzing neighborhoods and I realized I've become a neighborhood snob LOL

M is for.....
McDonald's.
This is my rant for the day.
Madison had cheerleading 30 minutes away tonight at 7 so we decided instead of trying to fix dinner in the whopping hour and a half we were home....we would take her out to McDonald's first.
Well first off it cost us 18 bucks for 2 adults and a child. For McDonald's??? I mean it isn't like we had sit down service or home cooked food. It's microwaved burgers and stale fries for crying out loud.
Which brings me to my next point. I ordered chicken selects, steering as far away from the disgusting burgers as I could....I wanted Wendy's or Taco Bell but was outvoted lol.....anyways....have you ever eated rubber? Because I think I did tonight. Yep rubber chicken.
For almost 6 bucks a person can I at least get recently nuked food?
Madison however enjoyed hers. I shoulda went with the Snack wrap too.
So there my friends, is my rant for tonight. Well one of them. We ordered her uniforms and stuff tonight and Oh. My. Word.

L is for.............
Love at first sight!
And it truly was. Going both ways.
This afternoon I found out someone was giving away a puppy. She is 9 months old and is a chihuahua/yorkie mix. Well I decided to get her for Madison. I didn't tell her where I was going because I wanted it to be a surprise. That it was! To say that she loved her instantly is an understatement. But what really surprised us was how quick the puppy took to Madison. Since arriving here she has been curled up with Madison and refusing to move. Doing homework was a chore LOL
So I'd like welcome our newest family member Sophie to our home. Here are some photos of her homecoming.

K is for....
well someone knew I was stuck.
So Madison asks me if she can go to the park with one of her older friends from the neighborhood (remember the whole independence thing?). I say yes for 30 minutes. She says how about 40? I said 35. She said okay and off they went.
So she comes back and screams open the door.
Door gets opened and there on the porch stands my little rescuer with an adorable little kitten. She had found it at the park and wanted to bring it inside. She thought we could make found posters and post them around the neighborhood.
The kitten was obviously someone's pet. It was well cared for. It probably had just run over to the park. But Madison just KNEW she had to have this kitten. PLEASEEEEEEEEE mom. I'll make it sleep in my room mom. We can take it to the shelter.
But I couldn't say yes. We had to take it back to the park. Of course now I feel guilty and will probably go back later and see if it is still there.
I can't tell you how many times Madison has shown up at the house with neighbors pets saying we had to bring it inside because it was cold/wet etc. And we have a SMALL house and a LARGE dog and a cat.
So....it at least gave me something to write about that starts with K.

I am stuck on K
so I am taking another break from the ABC's LOL
I had something I wanted to share anyways.
There is an old couple that lives somewhere in my neighborhood....not sure where....but they are pretty old....and he is disabled in some way....when he walks alone he uses a walker....and he cant stand straight (or probably at all without the walker)....so he leans....and even with the walker he limps......and his wife...she is in a wheelchair....
Every day without fail....they come walking by....him holding on to the wheelchair and pushing her up the street....going for a walk
Now I don't know this couple.....though I have sold them Girl Scout Cookies LOL....but they made an impact in my life...
what more devotion could your husband give you? Than to stumble along barely standing while pushing you in your wheelchair for a walk?
THAT my friends is what I want in life. Is it really too much to ask? Someone to grow old with me and push my wheelchair? (Ok it would help if he were a duplicate of edward he he). But seriously.....thats what love is about. And that is what I hope to someday in the future find with someone.
Just my thought for the day!

A special plea on behalf of women everywhere....
You are seeing this break in your normally scheduled ramblings from my life for a very important message.
You see I finished the last two Twilight books. And it was NOT enough. So then I went to the website and read her rough draft (partial might I add) of Midnight Sun. And it just ended. In the middle.
Now I can't begin to explain how this affected me. I mean its bad enough that I am finished with the story. Then to tease me by letting me inside Edward's head but only for a brief time. It's just cruelty.
So on the strange unlikely chance that Stephenie Meyer just happens to be a blog addict. And on the chance that out of all the blogs out there, mine is the one she stumbles into. I make the following plea on behalf of my fellow females.
PLEASE finish writing and publish Midnight Sun. We all understand that you were betrayed and hurt. We get that. And if we could somehow do something to make it better we would. But we can't. And hurting us, the fans, is not making it better. We LOVE Edward. We LOVE the series. We NEED Edward. The partial rough draft was awesome but NOT NEARLY ENOUGH. Give us our Edward!!!!
And if you want, you could continue to write about him. We wouldn't mind :)

J is for....
Jumps.
Jumps. Splits. High V. Low V.
Yep Madison is in cheerleading again. This time she is taking classes with a competition team. I don't know if I am going to sign her up for competition this go round or not. She has a ways to go for that I think.
But she LOVES cheering. So I am glad that she gets to do it again.
Of course thats one more evening I have to run around. As if life wasn't busy enough.
